Dam Square

I arrived at Dam Square with the kind of tiredness that does not come only from walking. The address in my notes was Dam, 1012 Amsterdam, but what I found there felt bigger than an address: movement, weather, strangers, and that small nervous feeling you get when a real place finally replaces the picture you had in your head.
