A slow afternoon at Edinburgh Castle

I arrived at Edinburgh Castle with the kind of tiredness that does not come only from walking. The address in my notes was Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NG, but what I found there felt bigger than an address: movement, weather, strangers, and that small nervous feeling you get when a real place finally replaces the picture you had in your head. I stayed longer than planned because something about Edinburgh felt patient with me. By the time I left, I had not solved anything dramatic, but I felt lighter.
